Maggie O'Brien's has been a downtown St. Louis institution since 1979, making it the longest-running Irish pub in the city. Originally opened by Harry Belli and named after his great grandmothers Maggie and Winnie O'Brien, the pub sits at 2000 Market Street, directly south of Energizer Park. That proximity to the stadium has transformed what was already a beloved neighborhood bar into one of the most important match-day destinations in the CITY SC era.

For CITY SC's historic first home match in 2023, Maggie O'Brien's opened at 9 AM, two hours earlier than normal, and brought in extra beer and staff. By 11 AM, the parking lot had been converted into a hangout with a live DJ and outdoor food and drink service. That energy has continued through every home match since, with the pub serving as the quintessential pre-game and post-game stop for fans walking to and from the stadium.
