Located on Logan Street in OTR just minutes from TQL Stadium, the taproom fills with orange and blue on match days. Features an on-site microbrewery with exclusive small-batch beers, Boston Beer staples on tap, and a rotating lineup of taproom-only brews. The perfect launchpad for The March to the stadium.
About
The Samuel Adams Cincinnati Taproom opened in November 2018 at 1727 Logan Street in Over-the-Rhine, just minutes from TQL Stadium. The 9,000-square-foot taproom sits across from the larger Samuel Adams Cincinnati Brewery and features an on-site microbrewery producing small-batch beers you cannot get anywhere else. On FC Cincinnati match days, the taproom transforms into one of the most important gathering points in the city's pregame ecosystem — the official staging ground for Die Innenstadt, FC Cincinnati's largest independent supporters club.
Die Innenstadt's Home Base
Die Innenstadt — German for "the inner city" or "the urban core" — was founded in 2015 and has grown into the largest independent FC Cincinnati supporters club, drawing members from across the city and beyond. Before every home match, Die Innenstadt gathers at the Samuel Adams Taproom to drink, socialize, and build the energy that will carry them through The March to TQL Stadium. The Briogaid, another supporters group with Irish and Celtic roots, also stages at the taproom before joining the rest of The Incline Collective — the umbrella organization that coordinates all FC Cincinnati supporter groups — for the procession through OTR.
The March
The March to the Stadium is an FC Cincinnati pregame tradition dating back to the club's USL days. Each supporters group departs from their respective bars — Die Innenstadt and The Briogaid from Samuel Adams, The Pride from Northern Row, others from their own designated spots — and converges at Findlay Market. From there, the combined march continues through Washington Park for the Corteo, a prematch celebration with chanting, drumming, and smoke, before the procession winds its way to TQL Stadium. The taproom's location on Logan Street places it perfectly within this route, making the walk from beer to stadium seamless.
The Brewery Experience
The taproom features 12 Samuel Adams beers brewed on-site, including taproom exclusives like the Oaked Dunkel and Coffee Pale Ale alongside Boston Beer Company staples. The microbrewery produces a rotating lineup of small-batch experimental beers that can only be tasted at this location. Beyond the beer, the 3,600-square-foot outdoor patio features picnic tables, lounge chairs, and brick fireplaces, with food trucks lining the perimeter — a setup that makes pregame gatherings feel more like a festival than a bar visit.
The Perfect Launchpad
What makes the Samuel Adams Taproom essential to Cincinnati's soccer culture is its role as a bridge between the brewery experience and the match day ritual. You come for the taproom-exclusive beers and the outdoor patio atmosphere; you stay because the supporters around you are building toward something. By the time the march begins, the taproom has done its job — you are fueled, you are connected, and you are ready to walk to the stadium with a few hundred of your closest friends.
