Crown & Anchor Pub
An authentic 24/7 British pub that bills itself as Las Vegas's home for soccer. A U.S. Soccer Federation sponsor with satellite dishes broadcasting European, South American, and American soccer, Crown & Anchor has hosted Crystal Palace and Everton supporters groups and is listed on the Premier League USA Bar Finder. The original Tropicana location closed in 2024 after nearly 30 years; the Spring Mountain Road location carries on the tradition.
About
Crown & Anchor is the bar that built Las Vegas's soccer culture. Founded in 1995 on East Tropicana Avenue, it was created with the love and labor of friends and relatives to bring a traditional British pub with a Las Vegas flair to a city that had nothing like it. For nearly three decades, the original Tropicana location was the undisputed home of live televised soccer in Las Vegas -- showing matches from Britain, Europe, South America, and the United States around the clock on satellite. The World Cup, Champions League, and Premier League became legendary events at Crown & Anchor, and when locals were asked where to watch the beautiful game, this was the answer.
The Supporter Club Hub
Crown & Anchor earned its place on the Premier League's official USA Bar Finder and became a U.S. Soccer Federation sponsor -- one of the few independent pubs in the country with that distinction. Crystal Palace, Everton, and Newcastle supporter groups have all called it home, making it a rare multi-club gathering point in a city where most bars align with a single team. The pub's 24/7 schedule means no kickoff is too early and no extra-time finish is too late -- a critical advantage in a city that never sleeps.
Beer, Food, and Atmosphere
For years Crown & Anchor boasted 30 draughts on tap, the most in Nevada, with a carefully chosen selection of beers and ciders from the U.K., Europe, and America. The British food comes from family recipes refined over the years -- bangers and mash, fish and chips, shepherd's pie -- supplemented by American favorites. The warm, wooden, nautical-themed decor gives it the feel of a proper local, not a theme bar. UNLV students get a free first beer on Tuesdays, anchoring the pub in the neighborhood community.
Two Locations, One Legacy
In 2008, a second location -- dubbed "Little Crown & Anchor" -- opened at 4755 Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas's Chinatown corridor. When the original Tropicana location closed in July 2024 after nearly 30 years, the Spring Mountain Road pub became the sole carrier of the Crown & Anchor tradition. The closure was mourned across the Las Vegas soccer community, but the surviving location continues the mission: 24/7 live soccer, proper pints, and the kind of authentic British pub atmosphere that draws both locals and visiting supporters year-round.
